"Carmen and Alicia are excellent hosts. They are incredibly welcoming and gave great dining and site seeing recommendations. All their rooms have private baths which are extremely clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the full breakfast was outstanding! We had eggs, cheese and ham, juice, homemade cake and coffee. "Breakfast was ok every day except Saturday which is market day and many people came in from outside for breakfast when us and many other guests arrived there was very little food available. This was remedied after many guests complaining to management, but waiting 25 minutes for eggs, milk, Orange juice, fresh bread and for a cup of coffee is unacceptable in a hotel of this standard. Basically, there was not enough kitchen and waiting staff to cope with this sudden influx of people from outside. However, the Market is every Saturday so this problem should have been forseen. On the two final days of our stay an extra member of the kitchen team was added and things returned to normal. Although they took the brunt of the complaints the waiting staff were always polite and helpful. This was a management problem However this was a small problem and did not deter us from enjoying our stay. We would book this hotel again!"
